Color Theory: Book Cover

For my color theory class, we had to take a book that we read and re-create the cover of it, based on color theory principles.

I took the book, Clockwork Angel and recreated the cover.

Gestalt: Space to create shapes

First Semester in my Design class we had to use one of Gestalts theories to create a piece. This is the digital portion of the project-I used the theory of space to create different shapes. I used crescents and circles.

Logo Commissions

So my older sister is going to college for Hotel Restaurant management. She is in a class that requires her to come up with some logos to go along with setting up the food related company. And much like professionals who work in this type of industry she searched out someone to help her create the logos-myself.

The top logo was created during first semester my Freshman year, the second I did a few nights ago. I think we are both getting better.

Digital Mannequin Drawings

These were digitally drawn on Cintiq computers in my Drawing class first semester...if you cannot tell by just looking-yes it is the torso of a mannequin.

This painting was done for my Art History class. Our assignment was to pick one of the artists we have studied and do a painting inspired from there work. I chose Francisco de Goya, specifically I focused on his 'Black Paintings'

Hello, my name is Rachel Esposito, I am currently enrolled as a Freshman at CCAD or Columbus College of Art and Design, my intended major is Illustration,  I am currently considering a minor in either Art History or Fine Arts.
